The project follows on from previous projects aimed at organizing an annual scientific conference for Ph.D. students and young researchers at the Faculty of Management of the VŠE FMISCICOM. Presentation at the conference is an integral part of the requirements for Ph.D. students (from 2021 twice during their studies) and replaces the milestones in Ph.D. studies that are common at top-tier universities (defending the progress of a research dissertation project in the department or within a research group).FMSCICOM represents an essential element of doctoral education at the Faculty of Management, aligning with global best practices for milestone-based Ph.D. progress assessment.
The aims to:
Support Ph.D. students in their dissertation research projects by providing a platform for feedback from peers and experts.
Foster the formation of interdisciplinary research teams and strengthen professional ties between academic staff and Ph.D. students.
Enhance the visibility of faculty research to external stakeholders, including both domestic and international collaborators.
Cultivate junior doctoral students' presentation and communication skills, preparing them for participation in international academic events.
