The aim of the project is to ensure the co-organization of doctoral or student sections of major conferences organized by FIS VŠE workplaces in Prague in the Czech Republic in 2025 and 2026. In addition to international conferences, the project will also support the traditional FIS doctoral conference "FIS Doctoral Students' Day", which is attended by doctoral students of all fields of FIS doctoral studies as well as invited doctoral students from other universities.
At supported conferences, regularly organized by various FIS departments, the outputs of the scientific work of doctoral students and young researchers are presented. The co-financing proposed in this project is mainly aimed at covering the costs associated with the active participation of doctoral students in these conferences, and doctoral students also have the opportunity to gain experience in organizing events focused on the presentation of scientific outputs. The conferences enable the publication of outputs from the scientific activities of FIS departments and are directly related to the solution of various projects, including IGS FIS projects.
The Day of Doctoral Students of the University of Economics is a platform where doctoral students present the outputs of their scientific work leading to the writing of dissertations.
MSED (International Statistical and Economic Days) - a traditional conference of European importance in the field of statistics and economics. Mainly doctoral students in the field of Statistics participate in the organization.
The RELIK conference (Reproduction of Human Capital – Mutual Links and Connections) builds on the outputs of the Czech Science Foundation projects that the Department of Demography is working on. Students of bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies in the fields of Demography and Statistics actively participate in the RELIK conference.
The IDIMT conference (Interdiciplinary Information Management Talks) builds on the outputs of various GACR and TACR projects. The conference is prepared mainly by doctoral students in the field of Applied Informatics.
The IV. student poster conference is primarily intended for FIS VŠE master's students, who deal with this issue in greater depth and are interested in the topics like Security and privacy protection, Artificial intelligence and augmented reality, Gaming and free time and Technology.
