The 26th Annual Conference on Finance and Accounting

The Annual Conference of Finance and Accounting (ACFA) is one of the main platforms where PhD students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting present their research progress. The conference focuses on areas that cover the academic profile of the FFU. The 26th edition of this conference will be held in 2025 and is part of the conferences and workshops under the Eastern European Group for Accounting Research. It will also host the Paper Development Workshop for researches from Central and Eastern Europe

All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. Presentation of a paper is possible only on the basis of a positive recommendation of the Scientific Committee. Authors of presented papers will be given the option to publish the paper either in the conference proceedings or in a special issue of one of the cooperating journals (EFAJ, JAMIS, ZTR, KREM).

The conference is a platform for the presentation of papers resulting from various scientific projects (projects funded by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic, projects funded by the Internal Grant Agency of the VŠE, etc.). Papers presented at the conference and subsequently published in scientific journals regularly rank among the best papers in the Dean's award.
